Um, yes. I'm surprised how often I'm being asked this question and I'm very flattered. And special thanks goes to all those people who have added my drawings to their photography collections. Oh, and everything is traditional of course, I can't do digital art for beans. All my materials are listed in the 'artist's comments'. I use mechanical pencils, regular pencils, kneadable eraser, eraser stick, regular eraser, blending stumps, cotton buds, tissue (sometimes toilet paper, lol), ruler. I also use coloured pencils and some acrylic paint to add highlights to my drawings. The paper I use is a local product, but it's a lot like 180g/m2 Canson. As for the graphite pencil brands, I use Derwent, Lyra and Cretacolor. Coloured pencils: different types of Derwent pencils and Faber-Castell watercolour pencils. Google it. People always ask me that and honestly, I have no idea. I don't take time while I'm drawing. Plus, my drawing process includes watching telly, replying comments on dA, eating, whatever. I just cannot sit down and do one thing for hours. All I can say is that it takes me about 2 evenings to finish a smaller drawing and bigger projects may even take me a week. But that all depends on my mood, sometimes I draw all day, some mornings it's really hard for me to pick up a pencil. I draw it. With a pencil. And then I erase it as I go along. Yup. Gallifrey. No. But you can do it yourself. Honestly. Everything I know, I learned from tutorials. There is a lovely collection of all kinds of tuts I've found on dA in my favourites section, so you might want to check that out. I don't feel like making my own tutorials, because it seems to me that everything has been said already in other tuts, so why bother? While going through tuts, pay attention to shading techniques, because that's all you need. Drawing is all about shadows and highlights. Sorry, no requests. I only draw stuff I like. Again, no. Sorry. I find it hard to draw something I'm not interested in, things usually get screwed up. Plus, I don't have a credit card, so I cannot take international commissions. Ask me and I might say yes. Please do not use my stuff without my permission. Unfortunately, no. Most of my stuff is fanart, so I can't sell those drawings on dA and since I don't have a credit card, you can't buy prints directly for me either. I'll try to figure out something in the future. : ) |
