Low Tar by naturalshocks Low Tar by naturalshocks
TUMBLR

Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock Holmes in BBC's Sherlock.

White coloured pencil and grey pastel pencil on A4 black pastel paper (Canson Mi-Teintes, the less textured side). I used a screencap from 2x01 A Scandal in Belgravia as a reference.

More Sherlock fan art HERE.

Gah, I love ALL of your black-and-white stuff! Normally I don't :+fav: drawings without commenting on them, because I think that's lazy (just like using the :+fav: icon instead of typing out the word ), but I'm afraid I'm going to have to make an exception in your case because otherwise I'd run out of compliments to bestow on you. :B

I found these after starting some black paper work, and they are so inspiring!

I should go and delete my version of this reference :B Yours is too perfect! I adore how the smoke looks realistic in comparison to my poor smoke. The atmosphere you've created with drawing just a few lines is mind-blowing :)

Hmm, I love how you almost can't see this one in the thumb. And I don't know why because that usually annoys the crap out of me.

Great job on catching his profile: it's minimalistic but still recognisably him.
