The Doctor: "Get out of here!" Rose: "What does it say?" The Doctor: "It is! It's graphite. Basically the same material as an HB pencil." Rose: "I was attacked by a pencil scribble?!" The Doctor: "Scribble creature. Brought into being with ionic energy. Whatever we're dealing with, it can create things as well as take them. But why make a scribble creature?" Rose: "Maybe it was a mistake... when you scribble over something when you want to get rid of it... like a um... drawing."
Rose Tyler (Billie Piper) and the Doctor (David Tennant) discovering the magical world of traditional art in BBC's Doctor Who.
2x11 Fear Her
I don't understand what the fuss is about. In my world, people get attacked by scribbles on a weekly basis.
Did this for =Diamond4girl's Drawn to a Moment Contest. This was actually the first scene I thought of when I read about it. Drawing a screencap that has to do with drawing for a contest called Drawn to a Moment? So lame and yet fun, no?
Got really tired of this project in the end. It lingered and lingered, so I finished it off quickly this weekend. >_> I need to start something new. Thinking of entering another contest. We'll see. Uni is eating me alive already. D:
○ 2B mechanical pencil [0.5 and 0.3] ○ 2B, 5B, 9B pencils ○ Cretacolor Nero extrasoft pencil ○ Blending stump ○ Kneadable eraser ○ Eraser stick ○ Cotton buds ○ Tissue ○ A4 drawing paper 200g/m2 x 2 ○ Time: I have no idea.
I have a lot of respect for that episode because it was set up in just the right way where all of the dialouge would perfectly rip our hearts in half when the season finale came afterwards. The alien wasn't the best thing ever, but it wasn't bad either, and the side characters told a great story. I don't understand what reason there is to not like it.
